Once you open the in-game phone, identify the vertical video feed, navigation arrows, home icon, and Auto play toggle. Those controls are the starting point for the Surf And Rescue phone. Follow the controls inside the phone; shops, tank management, and external social accounts have their own interfaces.
The feed and the fish obstacle game are distinct views. If you see short-video content, you are browsing the feed. If you see a side-view clownfish moving between green obstacles with a score counter, use the phone minigame guide for that separate activity.
Recognize the feed layout
The phone displays short-video content in a vertical format. Left and right arrows sit alongside the navigation, while a home icon and Auto play option provide additional controls. Learn those elements before interpreting the numbers attached to a clip.

Choose deliberate browsing or inspect Auto play
Use the arrows when you want to change the displayed item yourself. Check the Auto play toggle’s current state when you want to understand how the feed is playing. The September 2026 interface includes a view with that option turned on.
Check whether the toggle is on or off, even while a clip is moving. A video can be playing while you still need to inspect the control to understand the selected browsing option.
Choose a feed item with the arrows, check its playback option, and use the visible navigation to change phone views. Follow the current device’s controls rather than inventing a keyboard shortcut to launch or leave the phone.
Do not treat feed counts as aquarium earnings
The phone’s short-video presentation contains content-related counts. Those numbers belong to the feed display. Read those counts with their clip. Use the game’s labeled currency, pet-income, or friend-boost displays for those other values.

For external accounts, follow any requirement the feature actually displays.
